Biography
Blessed Angelus of Foligno, also known as Angelo Conti, Angelo of Foligno, or Angelus Conti, was born in 1226 in Foligno, Umbria, Italy, into a noble family. At the age of 20, he entered the Augustinian Order and became an Augustinian hermit, dedicating his life to prayer, penance, and contemplation.
