Blessed Chiara Badano, also known as Luce Badano, was a young lay woman born on 29 October 1971 in Savona, Italy. She grew up in the Diocese of Aqui Terme, the daughter of Ruggero Badano, a truck driver, and Maria Teresa Caviglia. Chiara was known for her kind, happy, and pious nature, and she had a wide range of interests including tennis, swimming, hiking, singing, and dancing....
