Biography

Blessed Eoin Omulkern, also known as John Kieran and John Mulcheran, was a Premonstratensian priest and one of the Irish Martyrs. Born in Ireland, little is known about his early life, but his unwavering commitment to the Catholic faith led him to embrace a life of religious service.

Eoin Omulkern joined the Premonstratensian Order, a religious community founded by Saint Norbert of Xanten, known for their dedication to prayer, study, and pastoral work. He wholeheartedly embraced the order's values and pursued a path of spiritual growth and service.

During the period of the Protestant Reformation in sixteenth-century Ireland, the Catholic Church faced severe persecution. Blessed Eoin Omulkern's feast days are celebrated on 21 November and 20 June, which is shared with other Irish Martyrs.
