Biography
Blessed Ida of Toggenburg, also known as Ida of Fischingen, Gutta, Idda, Iddah, Ita, Itha, Itta, Judith, and Ydda, was a Countess born in 1156 in the region of Toggenburg, Switzerland. She was married to Count Henry of Toggenburg, a union that initially brought her happiness. However, their relationship took a turn for the worse when the couple failed to conceive a child.
