Biography
Blessed John Vallejo, also known as Blessed John of Valladolid, was a member of the Mercedarians at the convent of San Antonio in Valladolid, Spain. He was born on an unknown date, but his life and exemplary faith is well-documented. He is remembered for his personal piety, his deep devotion to the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy (Mercedarians), his fervent acts of penance, and for his gift of prophecy.
