Blessed Joseph Tien, also known as Thao Tien, was a Catholic priest and martyr who dedicated his life to serving the Apostolic Vicariate of Thanh Hóa, located in modern-day Laos. Born on 5 December 1918 in Ban Ten, Muang Xåi, Houaphan, Laos, he was deeply committed to his faith from a young age.
Joseph Tien exemplified great devotion and love for the Church, leading him to pursue his vocation as a priest.
