Blessed Pio Alberto Del Corona, also known as Alberto Corsi, was born on July 5, 1837, in Livorno, Italy. He embarked on a remarkable journey of service to God and his fellow humans, leaving a lasting impact as a Dominican priest and bishop.

In recognition of his leadership qualities, Bishop Del Corona was appointed as the titular bishop of Draso and co-adjutor bishop of San Miniato, Italy, on December 21, 1874.
