Saint Beata of Ribnitz, also known as Beate of Ribnitz or Beatrix of Ribnitz, was born into the noble family of Duke Heinrich of Mecklenburg in the 14th century in Mecklenburg, Germany. Little is known about her early life, but it is believed that she received a privileged upbringing due to her noble birth.
