Biography

Saint Daniel of Venice, also known as Daniel of Murano and Daniel of Ungrispach, was a 15th-century Camaldolese monk at Venice, Italy. He is renowned for his selflessness and devotion to prayer. Born in Germany, little is known about his early life before he embarked on his spiritual journey. Saint Daniel gained a reputation for his incredible generosity when he gave away all his possessions to aid the poor and destitute. This act of selflessness became a hallmark of his life and earned him great reverence among the people.
