Saint Hippolytus of Belley, also known as Hippolytus of Condat, Hippolytus of Saint-Oyend, and Ippolito of Belley, was a revered figure in the early Christian Church. He was born in the region of Jura, France, around the 8th century, and went on to lead a life dedicated to the service of God. Hippolytus began his spiritual journey by entering the monastic life.
