Biography

Blessed Abundus of Villers, also known as Abundus of Villers, was a Cistercian monk who lived in Villers, Brabant (in modern Belgium). Although not much is known about his early life, he was revered from a young age for his unworldly innocence and simplicity. His profound devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary became evident through the numerous visions he experienced, in which Mary appeared to him.
