Biography

Blessed Adelheidis of Tennenbach, also known as Blessed Adelheidis of Tennenbach Abbey, was born in Thöningen, Germany. She was born into an aristocratic family, but she felt a strong calling to a life dedicated to God. Adelheidis decided to enter the Benedictine Cistercian Order and became a nun at Tennenbach Abbey.
