Biography

Blessed Andrew Sushinda, also known as Andreas Yoshida and Andrew Gioscinda, was a layman in the archdiocese of Nagasaki, Japan during the 17th century. He is revered as a martyr and a devoted member of the Confraternity of the Rosary. Blessed Andrew's feast days are celebrated on 1 October and 10 September, as he is recognized as one of the 205 Martyrs of Japan.
