Biography

Blessed Bentivoglio De Bonis, also known as Bentivolius Bonis or Bentivoglio de Bonis of San Severino Marche, was born in 1188 in San Severino, Italy. He was one of the earliest disciples of Saint Francis of Assisi and also one of the first Franciscans.

Bentivoglio De Bonis dedicated his life to the service of God and the Church. He was ordained as a priest and soon gained a reputation as a powerful preacher. His sermons captivated the hearts and minds of the people, drawing them closer to their faith and inspiring them to lead virtuous lives.

Blessed Bentivoglio was not only an eloquent speaker but also a gifted miracle worker.
