Blessed Bernardo of Poncelli, also known as Bernardo de Rojas, was a prominent figure in the Catholic Church as a commander of the Mercedarians in Toulouse, France. He made his solemn profession within the Mercedarian Order in the year 1333, dedicating his life to the service of God and the redemption of captives.
