Blessed Christina Ebner, also known as Kristina Ebner, was born on Good Friday, March 26, 1277, in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. She was the daughter of Seyfried Ebner and Elizabeth Kuhdorf. At the age of twelve, she entered the Dominican monastery of Saint John the Baptist in Engeltal, located in the Burgraviate of Nuremberg.

Blessed Christina dedicated her life to the religious vocation of being a nun. She became renowned for her exceptional piety and spirituality, as well as for her visionary experiences.
