Biography

Blessed Conrad of Saxony, also known as Conrad of Germany, was a Franciscan friar and missionary preacher who dedicated his life to spreading the faith among Muslims and Eastern Orthodox Christians in the region of Ircania, near the Caspian Sea. Born in Saxony, modern-day Germany, Conrad felt a calling to serve God and became a member of the Franciscan Order.
