Biography
Blessed Daniel of Cambron, also known as Daniele, was born in 1115 to the noble family in Geraardsbergen (Grammont), East Flanders, Belgium. From a young age, he was determined to dedicate his life to the religious vocation. In pursuit of this calling, Daniel entered the Cistercian Benedictine abbey of Our Lady of Cambron-Casteau, becoming a monk in the mid-12th century.
