Biography

Blessed Daudi Okelo, also known as David or Davide, was born around 1902 in Payira, Kitgum, Uganda, to the Acholi tribe. At the age of fifteen, he converted to Catholicism, embracing his faith wholeheartedly. Inspired by his deep commitment to Christ, Daudi became a catechist, working alongside another future martyr, Blessed Jildo Irwa.
