Biography

Blessed Elisabetta Sanna was a married lay woman who lived in the dioceses of Rome and Sassari, Italy. Born on April 23, 1788, in Codrongianos, Sassari, she lived a life dedicated to her faith and the service of others. After becoming widowed, she joined the Secular Franciscan Order and became a member of the Union of the Catholic Apostolate.

Elisabetta Sanna was known for her deep devotion to God and her compassion for the less fortunate. She committed herself to a life of prayer and charitable works. Despite her own personal challenges and financial difficulties, she tirelessly cared for the sick and the poor, offering them comfort and assistance. Elisabetta Sanna's life was marked by her unwavering faith and her commitment to live the teachings of Jesus Christ.
