Biography

Blessed Emiliano Pascual Abad was a devout Catholic member of the Claretians who was martyred during the tumultuous Spanish Civil War. He was born on 5 December 1914 in the town of Milagros, located in the province of Burgos, Spain.

Emiliano Pascual Abad lived during a time of political and religious unrest in Spain, particularly marked by the rising tensions between Republicans and Nationalists. Despite the challenging circumstances, he dedicated himself to his faith, embracing the teachings of Jesus Christ and the values of the Claretian community.

Tragically, Blessed Emiliano Pascual Abad's young life was cut short when he was martyred on 19 October 1936 at Mas Claret, Sant Pere dels Arquells, Lleida, Spain.
