Biography
Blessed Ferdinand Perez, also known as Ferdinando, was a Mercedarian lay knight who dedicated his life to rescuing Christians who were enslaved by the Muslim Saracens in North Africa. Born in Castile, Spain, Ferdinand felt a calling to carry out acts of mercy and redemption.
