Biography

Blessed Germán Caballero Atienza, also known as "Blessed German of Castromacho," was a Dominican priest who was martyred during the Spanish Civil War. He is remembered for his unwavering faith and commitment to his vocation.

Germán Caballero Atienza was born on 11 October 1880 in Castromacho, Palencia, Spain. From a young age, he showed a deep piety and a desire to serve God. Following his calling, Germán joined the Dominican Order and dedicated his life to the service of the Church.

Ordained as a priest, Blessed Germán Caballero Atienza zealously carried out his ministry, spreading the Gospel and tirelessly ministering to the needs of the faithful.
