Biography

Blessed Giovanna Lambertini, also known as Sora Zovanna, Jane, or Joan, was born into the nobility in Italy. Born to a wealthy and powerful family, Giovanna experienced a deep calling towards the religious life, ultimately leaving behind her worldly and privileged upbringing to embrace a life of devotion and poverty as a Poor Clare nun.
