Biography

Blessed Giovanni Orsini, also known as Giovanni Dominici, was born in Rivalta, Torino, Italy in 1333. He hailed from a pious Italian noble family, and it was no surprise that several of his brothers chose to enter religious life as monks. Following his innate piety and passion for the Church, Giovanni pursued a path of deep devotion and scholarly pursuits.
