Biography

Blessed Hugh of Fosse, a priest and devoted disciple of Saint Norbert, succeeded his spiritual master as the second Superior General of the Premonstratensian Order (Canons Regular of Prémontré) in the early twelfth century. Following Saint Norbert’s death, Hugh assumed the mantle of leadership with steadfast dedication, guiding the nascent religious community through a period
