Biography
Blessed Ivo of Chartres, also known as Yves or Yvo, was born around 1040 in Beauvais, France, to a noble family. He received his education in Paris and later pursued further studies at the renowned Abbey of Bec in Normandy. During his studies, he had the privilege of being a fellow student with the esteemed Saint Anselm of Canterbury, who would become a close friend and influential figure in his life.
