Biography
Blessed John Discalceat, also known as John Descalzo, John Discalceatus, or Giovanni, was born around 1278 in Saint-Vougay, Finistère, in the diocese of Saint Paul-de-Lon, Brittany, France. Little is known about his early life, except that he worked as a stone mason before dedicating himself to a religious vocation.
