Blessed José Medes Ferrís, also known as José Medes Ferrís, was born on 13 January 1885 in Algemesí, a town in the province of Valencia, Spain. He was baptized on the day of his birth, beginning his lifelong journey as a devout Catholic. Growing up in a farming family, José developed a deep connection with the land and a strong work ethic.
