Blessed Josep Lluís Carrera Comas, also known as Brother Agapi, was a dedicated member of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, a religious congregation founded by St. John Baptist de La Salle, dedicated to the education of children, especially the poor. He was born on February 4, 1881, in Santa Coloma de Farners, a town located in the province of Girona, Spain.
