Blessed Oringa of the Cross, also known as Christiana of the Cross, Christine of the Cross, and Oringa Menabuoi, was a pious farm girl born in the Arno valley of Tuscany, Italy. Born in an era when arranged marriages were common, she bravely fled her home to escape such a fate.
