Blessed Paul Of Wallachia

Blessed Paul of Wallachia, also known as Paulus de Ungaria, was born in Hungary and lived in the 13th century. Little is known about his early life, but it is believed that he received a formal education and studied law at the prestigious University of Bologna in Italy. During his time in Italy, Paul developed a close friendship with Saint Dominic de Guzman, the founder of the Order of Preachers, commonly known as the Dominicans.
