Biography

Blessed Paula of Tuscany, also known as Blessed Paula of Florence, was born in the year 1318 in Tuscany, Italy. Little is known about her early life, but at a very young age, she was placed under the care of the local Camaldolese nuns. This decision would shape the course of her life, as she would remain with the order for the entirety of her life, becoming both a dedicated student and eventually a nun.
