Biography

Blessed Rafael Alcocer Martínez was born on October 29, 1889, in Madrid, Spain. He grew up in a devout Catholic family and felt a calling to religious life from a young age. After completing his education, he entered the Benedictine order and joined the Solesmes Congregation.
