Blessed René Lego, priest of the Diocese of Angers, France, is commemorated for his steadfast witness during the tumultuous French Revolution. Born into a family marked by holiness, he was the brother of the Blessed Jean-Baptiste Lego. As a priest serving faithfully within his diocese, Brother René dedicated himself to the spiritual care of his flock amidst growing political upheaval.
