Biography
Blessed Robert Bickerdike was a devout layman who lived during a period of official persecution of Catholics in England. Not much is known about his early life, except that he was born in Lowhale, Yorkshire, England. Despite the risks involved, Robert remained steadfast in his faith and actively participated in the life of the Catholic community.
