Blessed Stephen of Hungary, also known as Stephen of Ircania, was a devout Franciscan friar and an exemplary missionary preacher in the region of Ircania, near the Caspian Sea. His mission took place during a time when the area was predominantly inhabited by Muslims and Eastern Orthodox Christians.
