Life

Diocesan priest, Founder of the Congregation of the Sisters Servants of the Lord of Mercy; he lived in a particularly difficult context in the history of the Mexican Church, marked by laws that prohibited religious freedom and the resulting anti-Catholic persecution. In this climate, he chose to be a priest, accepting the risk of becoming a martyr of Christ.
