Of the Congregation of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, titular Archbishop of Claudiopolis, former Vicar Apostolic of Papua; he was a Pastor and Evangelizer of very human character. The Gospel he proclaimed was a bringing of man back to his Creator. His affability and gracious manner led those he spoke with to question their own faith in a simple and spontaneous way.
