Life
Professed priest of the Society of Jesus; having obtained permission to leave as a missionary for Peru, he went on from there to Bolivia, Argentina and Paraguay. The hardships of his missionary apostolate, which lasted nearly thirty years, undermined his health. His evangelizing spirit sprang from his ardent love for God and his deep contemplative, eucharistic and Marian life.
