Domingo de Jesús María (1559-1630), also known as the Venerable Ruzola, was a Spanish Discalced Carmelite who held important positions within the Order and is known for his participation in the Thirty Years' War, as well as for founding the Order's monastery in Ghent. A cause of canonization has now been opened to raise him to sainthood.
