Diocesan priest, founder of the Pious Union of the Visitandine Sisters of the Immaculate Virgin; the spirituality he instilled in the Visitandine Sisters was that typical of the consecrated soul: the totality and depth of virginal consecration, hence intimacy with Christ, intensity of eschatological hope, participation in the sacraments, and perseverance in prayer, giving preeminence to contemplation of the Passion of Christ.
