Life

Bishop of Aguascalientes and founder of the Congregation of the Catholic Sisters Teachers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus; he carried out extraordinary pastoral work, with numerous visits to the "peripheries" of the diocese. Throughout the various stages of his life he remained humble and simple, living a life marked by evangelical poverty. His charitable and social activity was also intense. He had important contacts with political authorities, with whom he sought dialogue in particularly difficult times, without compromising, yet remaining prudent and wise.
