Abbot General of the Sylvestrine Congregation of the Order of St. Benedict, founder of the Congregation of the Benedictine Sisters Reparatrices of the Holy Face of Our Lord Jesus Christ; he lived his many activities and profound interior life with balance, spiritual joy, constancy, zeal, and wisdom. In difficult moments he found strength and support in listening to the Word of God, in the Sacraments, and in devotions to the Virgin Mary, the Sacred Heart, the Holy Face of Christ, and St. Sylvester.
