Professed priest of the Congregation of the Missionaries of the Holy Family and founder of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Congregation of the Missionaries of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament and the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament; he trusted in divine mercy and providence both in trials and difficulties and in the many initiatives he carried out, placing everything in God's hands. Detached from earthly goods, amid hardships and very scarce financial resources, he lived the virtue of hope to a heroic degree.
