Diocesan priest; he was a simple, humble, poor priest, and spent his life solely for the Lord and his neighbor, dedicating himself in particular to the sick and the poor, whom he helped materially and spiritually. The Christian communities he served as pastor considered him a genuine man of God, and his superiors, aware of his excellent pastoral abilities, entrusted him with the care of several parish communities at the same time.
