Founder of the Congregation of the Poor Daughters of Saint Anthony, now the Franciscan Religious of Saint Anthony; taking as her models Saint Francis of Assisi, Saint Anthony of Padua, and Saint Cajetan of Thiene, she had a great love for the Christ Child and for the Crucified Christ, and cultivated a deep love for the Eucharist, from which she drew strength and inspiration to promote a way of life marked by self-giving.
