Natalina Bonardi

Life

Founder of the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Mary of Loreto. She sensed the urgent needs of her time and, attentive to human suffering, wanted to make herself useful wherever possible, without counting the cost in sacrifice and hardship. One of the social problems that seemed most urgent to her was the care of the elderly and the destitute. During the war she offered her fraternal help not only to soldiers, but also to partisans and Jews. She was solicitous toward every sister.
