A professed cleric of the Congregation of the Missionaries of the Sacred Hearts; faith in God was the pivot of his life. From boyhood he went to his parish every day for Mass and in the evening went to church to receive Eucharistic Benediction, so that this assiduous religious practice led him to desire to become a priest.
