Founder of the Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of the Little House of Divine Providence; she lived a very troubled childhood and youth. Nevertheless she found in the Gospel message the point of reference to which she oriented her life and her activity. Without schooling and left illiterate, she nourished a simple and intense faith, sustained by prayer and oriented toward deep Marian devotion.
